An avid travel documentarian focused on adventure travel and fostering community connections!
I’m a proud born and bred Brooklynite, NYU graduate student, and emerging travel documentarian focused on adventure travel! My quests explore local travel and the vibrant community connections found in New York City! I'm a travel host of my original YouTube travel series, More Than Miles and have worked with organizations such as the North American Travel Journalists Association..
Alongside my work as a documentarian, I also participate with the Public Theater as a community member. My experience extends to public speaking and presentation, freelance writing, synthesizing research and interpretation, storytelling, podcasting, digital content management, editing, publishing, and brand management, all of which help me build strong community connections.
When I’m not performing, pitching, writing, or publishing, I enjoy reading, taking classes at the library, teaching my indigenous language Garifuna, and learning new languages. I also love knitting, painting, and exploring new restaurants in my city, which helps me build community connections and fuels my passion for adventure travel!
I'm seeking career opportunities in adventure travel where I can professionally grow and apply my creativity, communication, writing, and research skills to produce high-quality content. As a travel documentarian, I aim to create stories that foster community connections and have a positive impact!

The first neighborhood of my More Than Miles series is Sunset Park! As a travel documentarian, I'm on a mission to explore every neighborhood in New York City, highlighting how you can embark on adventure travel while fostering community connections and making the most of the city from exactly where you are, sustainably and with ease!
Continuing More Than Miles series is Flatbush where I'm honored to document my Garifuna heritage! The Garifuna are descendants of African and Indigenous Arawak survivors who were never conquered and have made this city a vital heartbeat for their global community. Click here to learn more about how Siria Alvarez, CEO of the Garifuna Market is preserving our unique culture for generations to come in NYC 💛🤍🖤
This episode, I'm back in Flatbush for Part Two of Caribbean vibes in the wintertime! Click the link down below to learn more about the first Caribbean market in NYC that blends art, lifestyle and heritage from all across the Caribbean diaspora under one roof!
