Nisani Walser

I’m an accepted NYU graduate student and graduate from College of the Atlantic with a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology (a concentration in communications and environmental policy). I have been working in the media industry for a year with the North American Travel Journalists Association. I am an aspiring actress and an emerging travel journalist with an expertise in urban adventure in New York City. 

In addition to travel journalism and acting with Public Works as a community member, I have experience with public speaking and presentation, synthesized research and interpretation, freelance writing, storytelling, podcasting, digital content management, editing, publishing and brand management. 

When I’m not performing, pitching, writing or publishing, I enjoy reading, volunteering at my local animal shelter and at FIND Community Center (a non-profit organization preparing young adults for success), teaching my indigenous language Garifuna, learning new languages, knitting, painting and trying out new restaurants in my city!
